Holiday Season

The Holiday season for me seemed a little off this year to me. It didn't seem to have all the jolly and fun and much waited anticipation as it usually does. The only thing I ever really got excited for was knowing that I am that much closer to graduating and getting out of here. My Christmas break started off with two away game losses and you never like that bus as soon as I finally got to be home with my family for the first time in a while I felt relieved. We haven't been all together since Christmas of 2019 and it was very nice to have everyone there.

After Christmas we had our yearly Yakima Sundome shootout. Now that was probably my highlight of my break. It was so much fun being with the team. Feeling like there wasn't any worry besides where we were gonna eat at and who we would play next. The energy in our team this tournament was off the charts. The first game we played a 5-0 zillah whom is one of the best 1A schools at the time. We were with them most of the game and then they pulled away. We had to fight back from behind but we still fell short to the leopards by 8. The next day we came out and played a 2A school and absolutely controlled them most of the game up until the third. The good thing was we built such a solid lead that it wasn't enough. That was my Christmas Break.
